I mean, don't get me wrong, those free programs are good if you want to do basic animations, but for more complex/bigger projects, I'd go with something like Adobe Animate. I don't even mind paying at this point, it's so much better than dealing with the bullshit that comes with the free programs. I highly recommend trying the free trial. I actually got my animation to work properly. Even though I have to pay like 25 bucks afterwards every month, it beats having to deal with constant headache/frustrations from all the technical issues of free software. I downloaded the free trial today, and let me tell you, it's SO MUCH better than everything else I used. ![]() I'll just try the 7 day pass for Adobe Flash/Animation. How the fuck did they forget putting in the eraser tool?! I spent like the past 2 weeks playing around with all these programs, and I'm like you know what I give up. And there's one (I think it was Tupi) that actually had NO ERASER TOOL. I am sure that is possible, but that just isnt in the Python API right now. I havent looked that much into the Python API, but I dont thin it is possible right now to check the frame data to see if it has content. A lot of them crash randomly on my computer, and others are way too limited in animation options. Right now the only way to export things in Krita is to specify a om frame 0 to frame 30 for example. ![]() I've tried pretty much every free software program you could think of like Pencil2D, Krita, TVPaint, Flipbook/SketchbookPro, Tupi, etc, they ALL have at least 1 major problem that ruins the experience. So I just decided to buy Adobe Flash, the monthly payment thing. However, I still think that those methods are a pain in the ass because I have quite a few many layers for my animation, and it'd take forever if I used those methods. ![]() Thanks for the reply bro, I appreciate it.
